Lloret has beautiful trails that go through the woods near its beaches and urbanizations and here are some of the hermitages seen on this route:
Hermitage of Sant Quirze.
Located 200 meters from the cemetery and one km from the centre. It predates from the eleventh century and contains graffiti by Adrià Gual. Near this hermitage fragments of Roman pottery, a coin of Constantine and various tombs have been found.
It is the oldest hermitage of Lloret, so old that someone thinks it goes back to the victory of a Roman and Christian general named Quirze.
Hermitage of Les Alegries.
It was the first Parish of the Villa de Lloret and about 2.5 km from the centre. It was the Parochial Church since the year 1079 until 1522. It has a Romanesque bell tower and frescoes by Calandria. In Lloret it was tradition that the sea covered the whole plain to the place called Las Alegrías.

The owner who acquired it an American called Nicolau Font i Maig built this chapel and made an extensive amount of refurbishment and beautification works among which the Cross and the Angel stand out. In tribute to Nicolau Font i Maig his marble statue made in 1911 was placed in front of the sanctuary.
